The campus is composed primarily of research lab facilities, along with administrative support and clinic space. ​ The critical lab space supports a variety of cutting-edge research across a broad spectrum of disciplines and is home to the only Level 3 Biosafety lab in the State of Washington. ​ The University of Washington is the sole tenant of the space; the property was designed and built with their research efforts in mind.

The welcoming two city block campus is located in a rapidly growing neighborhood a few blocks north of Lake Union and a short shuttle ride away from the main University of Washington campus where many of the researchers split their time.
